Initace Showcase project. This is our own concept, not work for a client.
Zworka is a website for a computer repair shop in Toruń. The first screen says plainly that a diagnosis is free if you go ahead with the repair, and that the price is given before work starts.
The project has a price list of 13 services in which every item has a gauge of the price range from–to, and a helper, “What is wrong with my computer?”, which, once you choose a symptom, suggests the cause, the price and the time. The repair status can be checked with the ticket number and the last three digits of the phone number. There is also a request form and a separate page for companies. The whole thing is a showcase version.

The industry’s problem
Someone with a broken computer does not know what is wrong or what it might cost, and fears a bill larger than the value of the machine. They want to see the price range before handing over the laptop, and later check what stage the repair is at, without calling.
